Chiggers

Okay, no one wants to discuss Freewill and Ethics, so what is your best chigger bite remedy?

A nice memento of my mountain biking day with Homebrewer....

According to Lizzy - scratch until you make a sore then it doesn't itch any more and you have a cool sore to entertain you for days after.

Matt says - there is no chigger, there is no chigger, there is no chigger...

My advice - why the heck do these little chigger bites around my ankle itch so much worse and so much longer than the stupid mosquito bites covering the rest of my body?! Guess that wasn't really advice huh?

I like Matt's Zen Buddhist take on the chiggers. Not a fan of Lizzy's, although I can see the entertainment value.

Calamine lotion does help. Apparently the trick is to not expose them to air as much as possible. I'm sure there are other medicinal remedies that could help....

I think that Matt is right...

I think that the chigger is gone and the itch is digestive juices it has left in the skin. Benadryl may help as well as the calamine lotion. Maybe pain relievers also.
A few beers seems to work...
